Cats mature much earlier than humans and after one year they are fully developed and have reached sexual maturity. The kittenhood of a cat is very short when compared to the childhood of humans. The first two years of a cat's life are when the relative age difference between humans and cats is the greatest, as this includes both kittenhood (childhood) and young adulthood (teenager).
